PROPOSAL

Knowing that today is the day, the day of for the question, of the plan completed with the help of friends, that after today everything will be completely different. We drive out from the hangar complex to a B737. As we approach the plane, I take one last look at my pocket holding the ring, hoping that M will not see it. As we get out of the van and make our way up to the entrance, I'm ready. I'm ready for that moment she realizes what is going on, for the question. We turn the corner only to find empty seats and a pillow on the ground. I wait for Mary to move to the first row of seats but instead she picks up the pillow and before I know it Jorge, Myles, Sandra and Brandon pop up from a few rows back. This sudden movement startles Mary and as she looks to me for an answer to why our friends are here, I open the ring box and ask her if she will marry me. Concentrating on my question, I didn't realize I had the box upside down before I opened it. As soon as Mary saw it was upside down she started laughing so hard, to where I had to ask again to make sure what her answer is. We are all here because of her answer, because she is allowing me to be her best friend, her husband, her love.
