CRAYONS

This was a fun project for us to work on. I had quite a few crayons left over from a photography project a year ago. I had twenty-four 24 packs of crayola crayons. I got them at Walmart during back to school season so they were not that expensive.

DIRECTIONS

1- Peal the paper off of the crayons. Do this by carefully cutting a line through the paper. It should peel off easily unless their is a lot of glue on the paper.
(We used a very small knife from a Swiss army knife set to do the cutting)

2- Group the crayons you want to go into each mold together. Then break the crayons up as you place them into the mold.
(This way you get about the same number of crayons per mold and crayons will come out a uniform size)

3- Set the oven to 225. Place Silicon Muffin Mold on cookie tray. Place in oven and set timer for 30-40 minutes.
(Oven temp can vary. Crayons will melt faster if they are smaller pieces.)

4- Take out of the oven and let cool on counter. Once crayons are solidified some place in fridge or freezer to fully harden.

5- Remove from fridge or freezer. Gently pop out crayons from the silicon mold.
